Your image must be stored on the web before you can post it on ts.com. Most of us use a free account on www.photobucket.com. Upload your photos to that account, then copy and paste the url number under the picture into the image url box on the thread page. Bingo!

Yes, only in 44 magnum. The 6 prefix means stainless.

Guys and Gals, I'm Sorry for such a lousy post. I'm a lot better at buying guns than selling them. Smith & Wesson model 629-2, 8 3/8" barrel, 44 magnum, full underlug barrel, unfluted cyclinder, Leupold base, Burris 2 power scope ( yes it holds it zero..good scope). Yes this model has the firing pin mounted on the hammer. Approx. round count 250-300. Cleaned after each firing. Why am I selling? I bought this pistol to deer hunt with, and was introduced to trapshooting shortly thereafter. Pretty much says it all. Has not been fired in 3 years. 200 rounds fired sighting in @ 50 yds ( holds a 1 1/2" group) 100yds ( holds a 2" group) and 150 yds ( holds a 3" group). I would like to buy a (here's a laugh you probably all get) better trap gun. If I can figure out the picture thing I'll be selling a few more guns That are sitting idle. I'll do better on the next for sale posting I promise...Larry Lockhart

Yes John I looked at that post. That is a very nice looking gun. I am leaning towards a Beretta or Ljutic. My ultimate goal is an Alfermann, I've handled a few at Merlyn's shop, but just cannot afford to buy one right now.

I do believ4e the 629 above is either the "Classic" or Classic Hunter". I've got a Classic Hunter, 6", unfluted cylinder, full length lug, 44 mag. I also think this gun first came out in the mid 80's, was discontinued, then brought back around 1990. (when I bought mine)

The 3rd "Classic, or Classic Hunter" came will all the "bells and whistles", and had a DX, after the classic name.
