Some people are better able to shoot a top single or unsingle better than the other. That is important in your decision. If you shoot both ok then I would pick the unsingle combo because of the adjustable rib on the unsingle. Also some people say an unsingle has less felt recoil than a top single. I have an xt and it seems to me that the botton barrel has less felt recoil and for my money the adjustable rib makes all the difference so I would go with the unsingle combo and never regret it. Good luck in your decision.

    Hello Samuel,

I shot an XT 30" O/U last season.

I bought the 30/32 unsingle XT Combo last year.

I still have it for sale if you are interested, would save you some $$$$.

It's been fired a couple of hundred times if that.

Pictures are on my past thread here on TS.com.

To answer your question, I own a unsingle and love it. The adjustable point of impact on the barrel is priceless. Sight picture is almost the same as shooting the O/U.

    Good Luck with your Decision,

    I upgraded to a K-80 unsingle.

I was able to step right into the K-80 without any modifications.

The XT combo would have required some modifications to fit me.

I made the decision to leave it factory, and sell it.

aaastalker,I have 32/34 tx unsingle and I like it but I am left handed so I had to modify the stalk to make it fit. wish I would have gotten 30" o/u though.

I see browning makes a left hand xt now. Do you or any one know if you can buy a left hand stalk from browning?

    Petey,

I would imagine Browning would be a little pricey?

Don't really know what browning has in stock.

Maybe, someone like Wenig's custom stockmaker (Wenig.com) out in Mo. might be able to help you.

They have a variety of services available for you to Fit,purchase or replicate a stock for you.

    They do great work !!!!!

If its what you want then buy it!! If you dont like it, sell it!! Dont buy something then wish you had spent the extra money on something else that you really wanted.

Before you commit yourself to an unsingle, ask the following question? Why are most of the top single barrel guns such as Seitz, Bowen ,Alfermann & Infinity available as top singles only? I think an unsingle may lead to the shooter being distracting by the bird before it clears the rib & the shooter may jump on the target too soon before really reading the target---but what do I know--it is my opinion----I believe if one design is truly superior, everyone will be copying it!!---Phil
