I must be getting senile. I forgot how to replace the trigger spring in a "new style" trigger Super X-1. How does one replace the trigger spring? It has been a while and I don't want to mess-up. Thanks!

Hi Bangalore, put a rod or screwdriver thru the open portion underneath the spring rod, this will keep the spring and rod from being forced down while removing the spring and freeing the spring rod...

now using a medium flat bladed screwdrive, insert the blade between coil turns and forcefully pull towards the rear until the rod clears the sear pod(or whatever it is called)...it will free up and lift up and you can now change the spring...

The spring is under pressure, on the rod, in position so be carefull it doesn't shoot off the end and hit your wife in the eye or butt...

You cant really break it or hurt it...

    regards
