    Gr8shot!! That says it all!!

Wow! Steve, we are all proud of you. WV State singles champ w/200 in the singles. The Newt Jones , once in a lifetime award. Moffet trophy. I hope I did not forget anything.

You did it all while working hard at the shoot. We do value you as a shooter and as a part of the shoot management. We are really glad we were there to see you have a great week.

    Fred and Mary Ellen

    Gr8shot!! :

Good shooting by the way Steve is a great guy to buy a gun from also, because I helped a friend buy one from him off this trap site and my friend said he was an out standing guy to deal with.

Congrats Steve, great shooting! Aline and I really appreciate your hospitality and company during the weekend. You made us feel like we were part of the WVA trapshooting family.

    Steve,

Congratulations, talked with John Sunday evening and he told me there was a lone 200 in the singles. Don't know the guy do you?

John also said the wind was not very helpful either.

    Nice job.

    Steve,
After speaking with you on the phone I think I have found an MD who can repair your knees. I will bet they are still sore.

Good shooting Steve you picked a good day to break your first deuce. Hopefully this will bring Gilchrist out of retirement to see if he can win next year.

thanks everyone for the kind words. i cannot express the sincere thanks for everyone around me this weekend. we had a super great time. i still get emotional when i think about it.

a special thanks for the squad i shot with. it was a pleasure. everyone was so supportive. some were even more excited than me.

i've always envied the shooters with those leather bags, but i wanted to earn one instead of buying one. thanx to the WV trophy committee, i have a great one.

Fred, don't be so modest. I hope everyone knows that you were the handicap champ also.

    Steve Sprout.

    Steve, congratulations once again.

For those of you who weren't there, it's hard to appreciate how impressive this 200 was. Brooke County is never easy (east-facing hilltop traps with tree/sky/tree background, mixture of Pat and hand-set traps, MUCH wind this year.)

As mentioned, Steve was also helping with the shoot operation.

Steve can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this was only his second and third 100 straights. I don't think he has a problem with shooting under pressure?

This was the_only_200 posted among all shooters, not just WV residents.

Don't be modest Fred, you shot well also, as usual.

All in all, a great shoot, although I would like to see the Greek back in the kitchen!

Foggy, I forgot to mention, the hats both Steve and Fred are wearing are WV State Team Hats. They look good in them, don't they?

Thanks to all who worked so hard to make our shoot a success. It is a combined effort from trap house to club house workers.

Thanks to all who attended and to all of the positive coments we have recieved.

Congratulations to all winners of this years door prizes and trophies. I think our trophy package is outstanding and the added door prizes from Cabelas, shoot vendors, and the presquad committie made the shoot extra fun.

Complete results of the state shoot are on the ATA website under State Shoots.

I hope to see everyone at the Grand and the TRI-STATE SHOOT Sept 1,2,& 3.
