1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Have a 1100 RemChoke rifle sight 12 ga barrel but I don't have an 1100. I do have an 11-87 that I would like to have a slug barrel for or maybe a 30" rem choke barrel.

Anybody wanna trade? please email me at copnj1301@yahoo.com if so.

Widen out the extracter notch and don't use the metal piece that the 11-87 barrel does and put the 1100 barrel on the 11-87

1100 barrels will "usually" work on 1187 receiver, but as Jim Dobson pointed out 1187 extractors are wider than on older 1100's and you may have to widen the extractor slot on the 1100 barrel. Newer 1100 barrels have wide extractor slots, the only way to know is to measure. Early 1187 fore ends will not work with an 1100 barrel. Most newer 1187 fore ends will work with an 1100 barrel, but do not use the gas cylinder collar off the 1187 barrel. If the 1187 fore end does not fit you will have to get an 1100 fore end.

Last but not least, if your 1100 barrel is marked for 2 3/4" shells then you can only use 2 3/4" shells.

Thank you guys. I called Rem and they said it wouldn['t work but if I didn't want to be sued I would have said the same thing.
