1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

I have decided to sell my LE Sig P220. 45 caliber, with 4 factory mags. Pistol has Siglites, and box. Great shape, typical Sig action and trigger. Truly the Rolls-Royce of handguns.

    $550 shipped to your FFL.

Great gun, but I have decided to stick with the platform I am transitioned to. The Glock. (flame away) LOL I have the Auto Pilot set for this gun and had best stick with it.

My business partner said everyone should own a P220. He is probably right. They are like a Swiss watch. However, he is not in the training end of the business. I like not having to think about manipulating my defensive/training firearm.

I have been asked about California sales. Here is what I told a fellow.

"If arm is legal to own there, I will ship it. Talk to your transferring dealer and ask him.

I am set up with the political mechanism in California to ship firearms there. I must file an intent to import, or whatever they call it, and they send me a number (I think).

I have not sent one there as a dealer yet, but do not see a problem as long as it is on their approved list."

I will keep opinions about California gun laws to myself. (gag)

I am thinning the herd right now, but thanks for the offer. The Super-One is a great gun.

$550 shipped. Great gun, great deal. Siglites, 4 factory mags, box and papers.

How a pistol made up mostly with cast and metal injected
molded parts can be called the "Rolls Royce" of pistols
is beyond me. It's a good gun but over-priced for what you
    get.

Those who know firearms will agree that the Sig IS the Rolls Royce of handguns.
    Those who don't may disagree.

Nothing mundane about a Sig, unless you don't own one. $550 shipped for the gun with NS and 4 mags is not "overpriced for what you get".

Cast and metal injected molded parts have been around for quite a while, and are used in the best firearms available. This is NOT the 1950's. :^)

I too carried a P220 while on duty and used it during several LEO instructor's training schools. Quality handgun.

They are great Pistols , I have one exactly like the 220 and it is called a BDA 45 Marketed by Browning, but it is actually a Sig 220.

You won't find MIM or cast parts in Ed Brown, Night Hawk, etc. I did'nt
say a Sig isn't a quality pistol. I just said it's over priced for
what the consumer gets. Cast and MIM parts have only one advantage.
That's a lower cost to the manufacturer. Forging and machining is
produces the best part. I've broken two trigger springs (located
under the right grip panel) in 226's. The slide in the P225 I owned
was a folded piece of metal. I understand they are now cast and
    machined.

Gee whiz, how much does an Ed Brown pistol cost? Just saw a used one for $1875. For $550 one can have a supremely reliable pistol with a good reputation and good resale. How much does one lose when selling a used Ed Brown? (ouch)

I think we are talking apples and oranges here.

I'm talking quality of materials and construction. A new Sig at $950.00
is over-priced. Your price for a used P220 is reasonable.

A new Sig at $950 IS unreasonable. I only sell LEO trade ins, or a good used one. New Ed Browns are not worth what they ask.

Most new guns are not worth their asking price. :^(

The comparison of a p220 to a Rolls was over the top hyperbole, maybe a P210. A Rolls is hand built to perfection by some of the finest craftsman in the world. Even the body welds are done by hand, no robots and certainly no MIM parts. Comparing the Sig to a Hyundai Accent would be closer.
