1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Is it just the picture or is the bluing on the whole receiver worn? The first picture looks that way.

I had one of these that was owned by Rudy Etchen. Bought it from Joel after Rudy died. Beautiful gun. Sold it to someone here. Wish I had it back.

I have it. Bought it from you. Great looking gun, and shoots great too.
    Thanks again for listing it.

Matt. There's quite a bit of engraving on the receiver making it look dull in the first pic.

Yea, DickG. I recall the gun being almost mint. Joel told me that Rudy had several safes packed with guns when he passed away. Joel also said that Remington gifted that 870 to Rudy in recognition of work he'd done for them. If my safe were larger (can't fit a bigger one in the basement or even a second one), I'd have kept it along with some other goodies. <:)

Boy, you know times are rough when a gun like this hangs around this long. Really makes me consider selling my TB for this one. I don't have the room now for a third 870.
