1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

James. Two major diffs... the Special has a trigger blade that slides back and forth 4 positions and the Specials were made after 86 when Perazzi went to CNC machining

Special also has a tapered rib, the original did not.

OK,here are some more split hairs. The original Ithaca guns did have a broader rib, non tapered. and most folks thought it shot a touch flatter than the typical 60/40...

That rib existed into the Winchester era for the one year that they imported them. 1979 to 1980. During that year the tapered rib appeared about half way thru.

Then in 1980 Perazzi/USA came into existence and was the importer. Then came the "Special" in '86.

I was away form shooting when the Special was discontinued. Someone else can fill in that blank.

If I didn't already have a couple TM1's I would jump on this deal. Great deal for a Special.
