I have one new and unfired -- they sell for $3995 and you have to wait 6-9 months to get one

I would trade for an MX series removable trigger gun- type 4 or sell for under what you can buy one for

consider trades towards it of Krieghoff stuff

Mine has the all forged components- they have recently changed to not all forged

The best 45 that has ever been made

    regards from snowy Iowa

Gene, I see that it's built on a "WC" frame. What's that?

    good question

with the super grade they actually hand select the slides and frames individually for a match- even with the tight tolerances they want the perfect match and the

WC frame is the combat frame - hand selected and matched -- they only make 10-15 a month and everything is matched and fitted

I think 8 means that is that is the standard size frame -

    Thanks for the questions

    regards from Iowa

I think the p just stands for pistol--

I know the most highly regarded ones are the ones that have a colt forging for the frame- mine is one of those-- but I dont think they can get that forging now and I think the some of their other 45s have parts that arent forged although I might be wrong on that
