1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Description: L.C. Smith Field Grade 20ga.

    Original wood and metal.

    Serial Number is S505XX so this gun was made in 1949.

    28” barrels retain 95% original blue with a little thinning at the forearm area.

    Mirror bores with internal diameters .613 right and .612 left.

    Choked IC/M (.010/.021).

    Minimum barrel wall thickness of 30 thousandths both barrels.

    2 ¾” chambers and barrels tight on breech face and hinge pin.

    Ribs are tight and barrels ring true with no dents or dings.

    Receiver retains 70% case color.

    Action tight with lever way right of center.

    Extractor Gun with double triggers and smooth pulls.

    Excellent screws, no rust or pits anywhere, all in excellent mechanical order.

    Capped pistol grip stock is uncut with a LOP of 14 ¼” to Hawkins pad.

    Drop at heel of 2 ¼”, and drop at comb of 1 3/8”.

    No cracks, splits, or repairs in the wood anywhere.

    Wood finish is excellent with no major marks, checkering is clear and defined,

    Wood to metal fit is excellent plus.
