For sale, custom made Mauser 7x57. I am 99.99% sure this gun is unfired (since being sporterized) I inherited it and am almost positive my grandfather never fired it and I know I haven't.

The gunsmithing is superb (Rhefner)and the trigger is crisp as could be, while I do not know the exact lbs of pull, it can't be more than 2 lbs. There is one "scratch" though the wood is not scratched, it is more like a dent which must have happened when I moved (can be seen in the last picture).

    Please make a reasonable offer.

Sjo many Mausers, so little time.........

Actually there are many configurations of sporterization re Mausers.

Views of bolt handle, safety, top front of action all would give more info.

Typical large ring Mauser sporters usually bring 250 to 350 depending a lot on the workmanship and the buyer.

Looks like a nice stock, Fajen maybe. Checkering would enhance it well.

The gunsmithing is excellent, I am no Mauser expert but I can tell quality work when I see it, this is top notch.

I think the term might be "sportorized" rather than "custom".

Original 98K safety. The sight looks like a Redfield 70RH. They are very good with 1/4 minute clicks. I had one on a Savage 99 and liked it a lot.

Nice deer gun if you want to shoot without a scope.
