WTS, but I have no idea of value

This is Thompson Center flint lock, .50cal with set trigger in near perfect condition. It's something my Father monkeyed with back in the 60's or early 70's perhaps. I shot it one time and it's very accurate with great iron sights and nice trigger, but muzzle loaders aren't my thing, so I have little knowledge about value. I'd like to sell it to a local to avoid shipping hassle, but whatever. Email my website if interested and shoot me a number or what you have to trade. Note: I collect airguns. Daisy, Crosman, Sheridan, Benjamin...etc.

I don't think this model is being made anymore, but it should move quickly in those areas where a traditional flinter is required for hunting. Take a look at www.muzzleloadingforum.com bet you could sell it there.

This one looks like a Hawken model thats missing the brass patch box and maybe the brass butt plate. Very clean models bring in the $400 range used, or at least were a few years back. Prices may have gone up. I don't know how much the missing pieces will hurt the sale price.

The flintlock does bring more money than the percussion model for sure. This one would be a great candidate to brown the barrel and do some stock work to give it that antique look. Now is the time to sell with flintlock seasons around the corner.

Tron, a good place to try and sell is Pennswoods.com

It is a online classified buy sell trade page that covers PA and surrounding states and would be a good place to try and sell it.
