    Shooting Coach,

Is the XT still for sale? If so, has their been any other work other than the barrel work? What is the L.O.P.? Is the stock RH?, Staight? or LH? Are the triggers Pull/Pull? Thanks beforehand.- Kevin

P.S. You can e-mail at the above address. Thanks again.

    Dear Kevin

The XT is bone stock with the exception of bore matched (.740") Angleport chokes. I have IC, MOD and IMOD with the gun. These chokes are tighter and perform much better than the factory offerings.

The 32" bores are perfectly regulated from the factory. :^)

The stock has the factory LOP of 14 3/8". Cast off is approx. 1/2". Triggers are factory pull, with the checkered trigger in the gun. I cannot find the extra triggers, but always use the checkered trigger on a gun so equipped. It is in the middle position. It has extra Hi Viz pipes with it, from the factory.

The gun is as new. The wood is exceptional. I do have a recoil reducer in the stock, more for balance than recoil reducion. I am old school, and prefer a shotgun to balance at or very near the hinge pin. This gun handles exceptionally well, performs 16 yard and Handicap chores very well, and is very nimble on Doubles without being whippy. It has recently been serviced by an obsessive former Browning gunsmith (me).

    $1800 shipped.

    Shooting Coach,

It's me again. I was wondering if you knew what the point of impact was for this gun? I hope you have not sold it yet? I am trying to get the funds together and find a FFL. Could you let me know what State you live in? Thanks again,- Kevin

    Dear HIR

For me, the gun patterns a little better than 90% high. YMMV, but it is a classic trap gun. I have set my Unsingle to POI the exact same as this gun. I like a few pellets (only a few) under the front bead. The XT does this.

Although I have read a lot about mis-regulated barrels on O/U's, I have had the luck of not running into one. Brownings typically are on the money.

It is still for sale. It comes with three bore matched Angleport extended chokes in IC, MOD and IMOD. The IMOD is a Death Ray. It is more than enough anywhere on the field. The other two are poison on Dubs.

The ONLY reason I have this gun for sale is the arrival of two shamelessly spoiled, high maintenance Italian adoptees who exist for the sole purpose of pleasing me on the Bunker field.

I am keeping my Browning Unsingle Combo. It is too much like a truck axle for most Intl' shooting, but is superbly suited for ATA chores. This XT will surprise you. It is portly enough to shoot three dram loads all day, but is very quick on Doubles. I typically shoot one ouncers at everything but Caps. This gun boils birds with about any load. It also likes 7/8 oz loads at the 16.

$1800 shipped. If you want it, pm me and let me know when you want to do the deal, within a reasonable amount of time. This beauty deserves to be on the field boiling targets, not languishing in my safe!
