Are you sure they are not counting the release / release shooters twice. And if they shoot a release / pull does that just cancel out.

Don't you just hate these cold winter days?

To add to the mathimatical confusion.....my old BT has a release, Citori double release, Perazzi combo & Blaser supertrap combo double release in each.....now, do I count the combos a 1, 2 of 3 since double release? With this in mind, I guess I could count as 1,4,5,9 or.........oh please let spring get here!!!!

Just a guess on my part, I'd say it's approx. 60% use pull and 40% use releases or somewhat close to that number. Would I have to cancel myself out because I use both and score about the same with either?

Are you contemplating going to a release trigger?

Chipking, a release pull cancels. I think a pull release would be very interesting though.

When I shoot a pull, pull the trigger 4 or 5 times to get the gun to go bang. However, when I shoot release it is only a simple set and release. Does pulling the trigger 4 times actually count as 4 to 2 victory for pull trigger. At least when I shoot sporting with a poorly functioning pull trigger (i.e. any trigger that is not release)it is entertaining and painful for my friends to watch.

Ban release triggers? What! Another moral majority?

No worse than pull triggers, they don't go off by themselves ...

Tarheel let us know if they do, Some of us would not want to go to that club if they pass that ban. There are overbearing Leftist Dumbocrats everywhere (Not smart to exclude any shooter base). Why not ban all foreign made guns instead that way they can get their shooter base down to what they deserve. Roger

Has your club given any reasons for wanting to ban release triggers?

Tarheel, any club wanting to ban a release trigger must not have many registered ATA shoots? If so, they'd never get those release shooters back for another ATA shoot!! Such a proposal is asinine at best!

Might be good to ban autoloaders or any gun that shoots more than 1 shot. Hell even 1 shot can be dangerous, ban all guns at your gun club.

If you don't ban guns at least ban live ammo. Maybe use lasers .
