1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Winchester imported the model 23 side by side shotgun in pigeon grade back in 1984 (or maybe it was 1981)...anyway it was just one year.

My dad got a hold of one from a guy that was importing them. Jimmy Garber - he worked for Hornady back then.

Anyway, they came in a leather take down case. Jimmy ended up one case short, so my dad got the short end of the stick and we never had a case for it. Dad's 72 now, thought it would be nice to suprise him with a case for his shotgun...

Has anyone come across one they're willing to part with?

    PM me. thanks.

Jeff, Not 100 per cent sure but I do not think they were leather. Green cloth comes to mind?

They were canvas and leather and hard to come by. Sportsmans Guide had a helluva deal on similar cases for $29.95 + shipping, but of course they don't say Winchester on them.

Bill I think you're probably right...green canvas with leather trim, maybe?

That is the correct case. And it had issues with the 'leather' sticking together. I'd suggest you go the Jeff's Outfitters and pick one out. He has an excellent selection of high quality cases. No, they don't say Winchester, but so?
