1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Hello all. I have a Winchester 101 XTR Lightweight 12ga. with a broken butt stock. I had posted a thread earlier to locate a new Winchester stock and the shock has worn off a bit so now I am posting to possibly locate a good used one?? I do not know if my stock can be repaired as it has several bad breaks. I posted some pictures to show what it looks like.
My other question is , is it worth spending $400 for a Winchester buttstock for this gun or get a aftermarket stock , if that is an option. The barrels are in great shape with just some minor light rub spots and excellent bores. The reciever is also in very nice condition. Not sure what to do so feel free to weigh in with any opinions.I am going to keep the gun to shoot what ever way I decide to go about the stock but value is a consideration as well. Thank you very much for all of your help. Dan

I think I may be able to help you out with a used stock for your 101. When I get back to work tomorrow, I will check and see what I have. as I'm pretty sure I have at least a couple of used stocks. Send my your e-mail address and phone number and I will try to reply directly to you and send a picture or two.

I have a factory high grade stock, not inletted for the trigger tang tho'..bought it on this site, but didn't use it...I cracked the matching forearm when I installed it...cheap..beautiful..I paid over 450 for the set, and since I ruined the forearm, I can part with the stock..email me for pics and we can make a deal on the price...LarryB
