1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

The part I am looking for is what winchester calls a right ejector hammer. It goes in the forearm of a 101 and is the part that strikes the backside of the ejector when the gun is broke open to make the empty fly out. The one I need is for the lower barrel.

If anyone knows where I can get one, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, Brian "Robbie and Jake's dad"

Stu Wright at Wright's Gunsmithing probably has them. He has a lot of the older Winchester parts in stock. He rebuilt my dad's 101 to like new.

Stu Wright or Phil Crenwelge. The last one I bought was $125.00 You can stick a new one in and it will work but it really needs timed.

Midwest gun works also has them. They ere in the 75-90 dollar range. Do yourself a favor and clip about 3-4 coils off the ejector springs. It will make the hammers last a lot longer. You don't need to fling the emptys into the next zipcode.
