1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Most ads listing hammer width are referring to the width of the spur or thumbpiece. The spurs on "target" hammers are larger than those of "combat" hammers; "target" hammer spurs usually are around a half-inch in width and noticeably longer. The width of the hammer body is the same.

    The ones in the photo above are "combat" hammers and triggers. In the photo below, the upper two Model 66s have "target" hammers and triggers while the 2-1/2" gun has "combat" parts. The difference in their profiles is easily seen.
