1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I would like to add a Smith & Wesson Model 686-3 National Match to my collection. These stainless steel guns had 5" underlug barrels, unfluted cylinders and specific lazer etchings on the barrel and sideplate.

That gun was built as a special to commemorate the National Police
Shooting Championships. The grips were made by Bill Davis who was
the armorer for the C.H.P. He went on to build some of the best
    PPC guns available.

No luck - they say the only unfluted 5" 686 they have is a recent production MIM piece with a lock. I spoke with two people and neither ever heard of the National Match 686. But thank you anyway!

same gun less the etching would be a 686-3 classic hunter, they made many more of those.

Two problems with that good suggestion - the Classic Hunters are 6" guns and I already have one. They did make more of them - exactly twice as many - 5,000 as opposed to 2,500 Mational Match guns. But thanks for the thought anyway.
