1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Youngest son fritzed up his scope on his 10/22 Ruger. I am interested in buying a replacement for him, and was hoping someone had a good unit they did not need? Or, any suggestions on the best aftermarket unit would be appreciated.

Also looking for larger clip for it, so any suggestions on procuring at least a 25 shot clip for it would be appreciated.

Shoot me a PM if you can.

    Aprice,

If you choose to split hairs, the 25 shot magazines are not rotary but use a flat coil spring for tension...

The Ruger BX-25 mags are nice and work good. Midway has the best price ($24).

get a big gun scope for him. Just need rings to fit the scope AND .22 dovetail mounts. the difference is amazing.

Many (not all) 10/22's are drilled and tapped to accept Weaver type bases.

Makes putting a 'big gun' scope on a lot easier.

The Rimfire Special scope shown is a great choice. Used one for years. Just the right size for a .22 and paralax is adjusted.

    APrice,

Sorry, as I hold one from Butler Creek in my hand it is 'straight feed.' The steel lipped ones have more of the true shape of the factory rotary, but it feeds directly in. The old plastic lipped ones are a straight line in, no question on that one...
