1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Looking for a Remington 700 short action gun. Don't care what kind of shape the barrel is in or the stock either for that matter. Just looking for a good solid action. Let me know what you have!

For the money, take a look at a Stiller Action. By the time you get done working over a 700 for a rebarrel job (depending on how accurate you want it to be) plus the action cost, the Stiller is a bargain for what you get.

Take a look at the 6MMBR.com site. They list all the top rated actions available. I am going thru the same scenario myself. The cost of buying & blueprinting a 700 action is just about the same as a new Pierce, Barnard, Pierce, Lawton, or Borden action. These actions replace a 700 exactly, so any stock you have, is still usable. Butch from Pgh.

Blueprinting??? Just screw a new barrel on and do a good bedding job and it will shoot one hole groups. HMB
