1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Looking to get one or two extra 5 round mags for Remington 541/581/Nylon 77, and/or a single shot adapter for the 541/581.

Check out the guys at Outback Gun Parts. They are working on all metal 5 round replacements.

Thanks for the lead, was on their website a while ago. Looks like metal mags are DOA for now according to their site.

Too bad, a metal mag belongs with these guns, can't believe the cheaped out on the mag for such a beautiful gun (hell, even the hundred buck entry level 22s come with a metal mag).

And from what I'm reading online, the 10 round mags are absolute junk, the basically disintegrate since the spring puts too much force on the plastic body (I wonder if loading 5 in a 10 would work OK).

Luckily my gun came w/ a 5 round mag, but I wouldn't mind having a backup, and would really like the single shot adapter.

X2 on the single shot adapter. While we are on the subject of Remington .22's, anybody know where to get trigger work on a 581?

Hit up the guys at Rimfirecentral. There is a specific Remington forum that will guide you to a 581 smith.
