1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    call Hornady.....They ofter send you a FREE replacement on broken part.
    4 Apex 3.0 12 Ga on E-bay now...snipe one.

    Yes, while your loader will use the Apex 3.0 "shell plate"; as was mentioned above, consider buying the 3.0 on eBay, and use your original Apex for misc. parts as the first generation tools operate differently than the later versions.

    I believe you can modify a 3.0 tool with the 3.1 parts to upgrade the entire shell retention system...

    Last time I called, they were out-of-stock on the 12 gauge "shell plates", which is why I recommend trying to upgrade an existing 3.0 tool to the 3.1 spring-operated finger-system...
