1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Wally, are you sure those are the two powders he wants? HS7 and Winchester 571 are the same and were made by Hodgdon.

AL7 hasn't be made for about 40 years and was sold by Alcan. Some of us still have it, but it's pretty hard to find.

Unless you can pick them up, there is the Haz-Mat fee to consider. I think it just went to 25 dollars?

Mission,in 12 gauge, the AL8 was recommend for 1-3/8 loads and the AL5 was normally for 1-1/4 but can be found with some fast 1-1/8 load, around 1300fps.

Mission,
Years ago I used to load 39.9gr. AL8 and 1 3/8oz. shot. Used an Alcan wad too. The wad had a felt filler in it.

I still have 3 pounds of AL-8 and maybe some AL-7 and AL-5

ACSS if your still interested PM me.

I have a 8 pound can of Win571. It weighs just a little over 9 pounds which
is about right as an empty Win296 can of the same vintage weighs just a little
over a pound. The can is a bit "distressed", but the powder
looks and more importantly smells good.

I would prefer a face to face trade for 8 pounds of W296 or H110. I am in
NE MIssissippi.

I have a UPS account, but it looks like any HazMat package has to go through the
UPS office.
