1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Jack...... I doubt very seriously if you will find a set of DB-81 32" O/U barrels for anywhere near $1600. The going price for a set of those, in average condition, should be well over $2000. There MAY be something around in that price range but I would be very careful and demand at least a 5 day inspection period for them. I bought a single barrel for a DB-81 at what I thought was a great price only to find out a week or so later that the barrel had been bent to make the barrel shoot higher. It was not really noticeable to the eye so I didn't pick up on it until it was too late. Good luck in your search and I hope you can find something decent in your friends price range...Dan Thome (Trap2)

Jack, I have a 30" o/u DB-81 bbl that I tried on my MX-15. It don't work!! You have to crank up the buttstock a tremendous amount, .400 or so....

I found what I believe is an MX-14 32 o/u that basically works without moving the comb....

Jim.... You are absolutely correct. A DB-81 O/U barrel on a MX-15 would cause the comb to have to be reaised considerably to maintain your current single barrel sight picture. I had a MX-15 that I made into a combo by installing an older 32" MX-8 step ribbed barrel on it. It was a Cat.3 barrel that I had converted to a Cat.4 and had it fitted to the gun. It lined up perfectly. An old MX-8 barrel like this can be found in the $1600 range, but then it has to be converted to a Cat.4.... Dan Thome (Trap2)
