WTB Metal detector for beach combing

    White's ...maybe but you left out too much information. Fresh or salt water, dry sand or wet. Wading or diving. Yes whites makes a good machine, but Minelab must not be over looked.

    If you are going to work the surf I honestly believe your best option is the Minelab.......they are 100% waterproof and preform flawlwessly. The Whites are very good as well, but do not compare for anything in the surf........

    Most of the guys in central CA are talking Minelab. I bought 2 and are very happy with them. don q

    When I first got them I found lots of neat stuff like nails, bottle caps, and tent stakes. After the new wore off I haven't used them much, but they work great. I did find a real old penny once and lots of .22 bullets. don q
