1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I am looking to purchase a mercury recoil device for my wife's BT99. I know there are new ones out there but I don't want to drop the money to find out it will not suit her needs. I figure they may be a few used ones floating around.
    Thank you

Measure the exact size of the draw bolt hole in your stock. You should be able to find C & H mercury reducers used but they come in many different diameters and length/weight.

Edwards was also a good reducer that may be available used.

Too bad I gave away a beartrap reducer a while ago.

Many people will tell you just fill up the hole with chilled shot but that gets messy

In the process of transferring "stuff" from my garage gun room to my "Man Room" and came across 3 recoil reducers. Tried to post a pic but for some reason now we have to upload to a different server to post to here, so I will just give you a description.
    one is a C&H Mercury 3/4 by 5 inch
    one is a Edwards 7/8s by 4 1/2 inch
    and the 3rd is a Flinch-X that is 7/8s by 4 3/4 in.

All 3 are used as my Dad was a gunsmith and if you send your address I will send you all 3 and you can have which ever one works and just send the other two back.

    Coyote,

Thank you very much. I have sent my address in a PM. I will cover your shipping costs when I return the ones I do not use.
