1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I won one at a shoot back in the 80's. A guy there offered me $100 for it. Like a dummy , I took it. STILL kicking myself in the A$$.

Actually, these little gems didn't cost a lot more than that back then, I got my M39M for $165 brand new from a big retail store in 1978. I couldn't part with it for even 10x that amount -just too many good memories.

Supposedly M39s are only worth $350 or so but I haven't seen one for less than $500.

Lots of junk out there. Good ones ar 500, sometimes less if you get lucky. I have been looking for a year for a 39A. I have an original octagon barrel one that is a tack driver.

My 39A(not for sale) is also a very accurate rifle. I have numerous . 22LR rifles but none shoot like my Marlin.
