1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I am looking for a rather New K-80 Gold Super Scroll with 32" CT/CT Barrels, nice wood and not a mandatory but a broken gold target top latch.

I have been in contact with a local dealer who keeps telling me that they are going to be getting one in on trade from CT, but the time line is getting longer. Now its after the holidays and I would really want it sooner then later.

********If the owner of this gun in CT sees this post please email me about it as I have a few questions for you, the dealer tells me a little about it but I still wnat to know a little more***********

I will also consider any other nice newer (2001- new)gun, obviously an engraved gun is my first choice. But I would consider a base model as well. 32" CT/CT Barrels a must, no release triggers.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

Ok I think you are operating on some bad information and calculations Jon

    1. Gold superscrolls all have gold line engraving and a gold target top latch

    2. RTs might have had some problems with after market release triggers but never with pull triggers

    3. I am the first one to admit though that RTs are worth less so lets say $1000

    4. As long as you buy it at the right price- you can resell it

    5. Find a gold superscroll with plain wood and a 32 inch barrel for 10,997 and you will have people line up out the door

    6. Here are a couple of pictures of mine with the exhibition wood

    regards from Iowa

    Gene

What a great looking gun here. It's truly sad that some shooters don't understand the K-80 RT. It shoots and handles identical to the K-80 without the removable trigger group. An excellent bargain for the trapshooter as most shooters shoot the lower barrel first anyway, not that you can't flip the internal selector and reverse the firing order. If your a pull/pull shooter and would like to step up and shoot the Krieghoff, this one will save you a few bucks that could be used for shells or lessons. Beautiful gun here. Wish I could have another.

Everyone I've ever talked to about the RT gun has said that the triggers are actually BETTER than the fixed trigger guns. The only real issue that comes into play is if you want to change stocks, since std k80 stocks won't fit, and can't really be made to fit, so you either need to find another rt stock, or have a stock made.

    Good job

That exemplifies the difference between an RT and the standard

You paid 3000 more than mine and my guess is the wood was pretty plain compared to the one advertised here

I would however- not knowing the details think you got a GSS very reasonably if everything checks out

Good luck with it- and it very resaleable

    Regards from Iowa
