1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

No pictures. I will check the model number. Nothing is sturdy enough for most shippers. I ahve seen some pretty nice cases damaged along with the gun in it.

I have met several people who had Americases that were damaged, but their gun was fine. Those cases are approved for all airlines. If you are traveling with a gun costing many thousands of dollars, $400-500 dollars is worth spending. Have you priced a barrel set for a K-80 lately? What would it cost you to fly to a big shoot and not have your gun operational? Spend the money, you can always sell the case later.

I agree with Leo. I've seen a few Americase gun cases damaged, but never the gun inside. Let's face it, the airlines can break anything. A quality case is cheap insurance.

I have three Warwick gun cases and they are great. I have put them on planes and they come out looking great. With other gun cases they look great but will show any damage that might happen to them.

EuroJoe, The Warwick case is the best for the buck. I have a two gun three barrel case for over 10 years that has been handled by the airlines many many times and still is in great shape. I now have three Warwick cases. I would not buy anything eles for traveling.
