1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I'm looking for a custom stock for an 1100 with "Lots of drop at heel", in hopes of allowing me to shoot heads up.

I have a long neck and shooting factory stocks, even with adjustable combs, have my head too low and my eyes shifted upwards.

Email or call me on my cell if you have something I might be interested in.

    Thank You in advance

Hi Jack, yes that's what I meant. I had the term misconboobulated. I will get ahold of Wenig, but someone here just might have what I'm looking for. Ernie

You might want to consider the option of having a high rib put on your barrel. This will allow you to shoot with a more heads up position. You can buy the rib and install it yourself from Keen sights, or you can have somebody do it. FWIW. JM

If his head is too low with the current rib, wouldn't a higher rib make his head even lower, relatively speaking?

I would think that adding a higher rib should get my head up straighter, but Neil had suggested rather than a major drop at heel on the stock only, split the difference, and raise the rib height, and then make the required changes to the stock.

I also have an issue with needing more drop and I have fixed it with the add on ribs and could not be happier. If you want to see how this would look on your gun get some balsa wood strips from hobby store about as wide as the rib and use a rubber band to hold the wood on top of the rib and sight down the gun. YOu can experement with differnt heights by adding another strip or using different sizes of strips since they cost so little. By doing this you can see if you think an add on rib will help you and then it is not too costly to add one and another good thing about this fix is that they can be taken off with no ill effects to the gun.
hope you get it worked out.

    Hey Ernie,

I have what you are looking for. I have an Anton custom made rollover stock that has a lot of drop. I will try to get you some pictures tomorrow. It's a beautiful stock and I sure you will like it.

    Hit 'em hard,
