1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I'm doing some research for a non-trapshooter pal of mine who just inherited a Browning Double Auto field grade 12 ga with a badly cracked buttstock. if any of you have one you's sell or know if one for sale please reply in a PM with price info. Thanks!

I would try Art's gunshop www.artsgunshop.com. He works on them. There were some for sale on gunbroker.com also. What color is the receiver of this Browing Double Auto?

ljutic73, the color matters to me as I collect the Browning Double Automatic. The Dragon Black with gold trim is by far the most common. They also come in Forest Green, Autumn Brown, and Satin Grey along with some different shades of these colors depending on production time. There are some really one of a kind colors like blood red and pink, so I have been told and have never seen. Only the very best condition guns sell over a grand. Most people are not interested in this very cool shotgun from long ago but I am.
