1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Hey 90TT. I have a brand new unused recently manufactured Negrini Black flat style combo case. Now, will it accommodate a Devault tree trunk? Uh, I don't know.

Yes, big bucks, but the trip across the pond costs lotsa bucks.

Still in shipping carton. A beaut, Ollie

90TT, I bought my case about 1-1/2 years ago from Negrini direct, and it was fairly easy to do. Mine is the model 16281 L, and it ran me 195 Euros which at the time was about $275. This included all the shipping and customs. You can see this case by going to the website above. You select "cases for weapons" then select the the icon on the far left upper row. Most banks charge $20-30 to do an electronic funds transfer, but Negrini will accept PayPal who doesn't have an exchange fee or funds transfer fee. I just asked Negrini for a quote including customs and shipping, and they quoted me in euros, and I paid them in euros from my PayPal account. It took only about 10 days to get the case from Italy. You will get a blank (no logo) case, and I'm not sure about color. Mine came in black with a red velour interior (not the interior that is shown in the pic). These are VERY NICE cases and are sure lighter to carry than Americases. ....Rick

3dram8: how do these cases hold up compared to an Americase?

Americases are more rugged, but you only really need that for flying. For general purpose transportation of your gun to shoots you DRIVE to, these Negrini-type cases are much easier to use IMO. ....Rick

Negrini ABS cases are fully capable for airline travels, the locks are recessed, you can tape it over if you like. I have a beat up Perazzi case from Negrini that I use for shipping to and from gunsmith services via UPS & FedEx, air & ground, for years. Worked fine.

IMO, Americase is for going to Africa, they weight a ton, and their corners are very hard on your vehicle doors.
