Frank, it is a factory Beretta optima choke and it is extended. Just like the 391 comes out with. Shane

Earl 4140, go to the briley.com web site and you'll see that these aftermarket choke manufacturers all make chokes to fit particular barrels, so to answer your question, you cannot screw an optima choke into a Browning Invector, the threads are just different and located in a different location....

Emm2/Shane, the 391 has Optima plus chokes, not the Optima, they are different, thanks anyway

Frank the 391 does not use the optima plus chokes. It uses the optima choke that fits the 391/682 gold-e/sp series guns and 686 white onyx sporting. I have yet to see a sporting clays model use the optima plus chokes. Shane

OK, whatever, I took the info from the Beretta website,

" These choke tubes will only fit the following 12 Gauge shotguns: A391 Xtrema 3.5" and AL391 with Optimabore barrels."
