1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Occasionally a decent bargain will show up on this board. There's a Rock River LAR-8 on there today for a decent price. Good luck.

I suggest before you decide on an AR-10 in .308, you check out an AR-15 in 6.5 Grendel.......

I plan to use it for hunting deer as well as target shooting and coyotes, and other large game animals, and in CT, where I live, it needs to be atleast a .243 or larger for it to be a legal caliber for deer hunting, that's my reasoning for the .308, other than that reason, I would get a 6.5, but it just wouldn't accommodate my needs. Thanks

    Zach,
I have both in .308 and 6.5 Grendel; the latter definitely outshoots the former, especially for the reasons you outlined!! Now if you are hunting for game larger than deer.. like black-bear..

    Well, a 6.5mm is larger than .243 (6mm) so I don't understand your concern.
