WTB 870 COMP STOCK AND FOREARM

    I would like to find an 870 Comp Stock and Forend at a reasonable price. Thanks, Kirby

    there is no difference in stocks on 870's, just the forearm needs to be a comp

    While any 12 gauge 870 stock will fit on the Competition model, the original Comp. stocks are a bit different. They are all straight comb stocks (no monte carlo's) and have a slightly higher comb to compensate for the step-rib fixed choke barrels that all Comp's came with.

    The stock I have now is a non-Monte Carlo straight stock and I have an adjustable comb on it. The stock I am looking for will be an extra that I want to have a good friend paint for me. The guy is really good and I thought maybe I could change back and forth as I feel like it. I think I can talk Jack West into doing one more comb for me. Kirby
