1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

I am looking for a set of 32" mobil choke sporting/skeet barrels for a Beretta 682, 686, or 687. I would prefer a set that has not been worked on but if work has been done please let me know what it is.

I may be interested in a set of optima bore barrels if the price is right in the same configuration as described above.

    Thanks,
    Ian

Ya a friend of mine that I shoot with has two of those, one he uses for 12 guage only and the other is a carrier barrel. The mobil choke barrels seem very hard to find and if you find one you better buy it before it disapears.

    Thanks,
    Ian

Forgive my ignorance, but why is a mobil choked barrel more desirable than an optima choked barrel?

    Thanks,
    Chip

It has to do with the way they are weighted.

I have two 32" sporting mobile choke barrels. One has the strata rib and the other is standard. They both shoot very nicely!

And they are usually a matte black instead of a bright finish. I want them because they are a heavier barrel, matte finished, and you can do what you want with them, if they are un-molested.

    Thanks,
    Ian
