1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Trying to find a 28 ga O/U. No specific brand or model. Just trying to find a decent field gun I can take into the woods, and probably do some target shooting with as well.

Let me know if you have anything you're looking to sell. Thanks!

if that is too much, consider a used ruger red label. great little 28ga made in USA with rugers lifetime service.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'm starting to think used Browning or Beretta, maybe 26" barrels. Anyone looking to part with something along those lines?

Just a comment from personal experience: You may want to try to look at both 26" and 28" barrels before buying.

I found that 26" barrels were a bit too "whippy". I went from a Parker Repro with 26" barrels to an SKB with 28" barrels. World of difference, much more controllable!

    Hi Kiv,

That is a good point. I'm used to, and prefer, my 28" barrels on my 12 ga 686 Silver Pigeon. That said, in tight new england woods a shorter barrel is often a good thing. I do plan to take a look at both before actually buying anything.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I have a SKB 28 guage, 26" barrels like new for sale. I bought the gun new and shot 2-3 flats thru it. It was bought for quail hunting. The lop is 14" with Pachmayer decelerater recoil pad. Other than that it is like it came from factory. Asking $750. PM me if interested. Thanks. John
