1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Going to a goose/duck hunt in December. Want to buy a 12ga. 3" that can be effectively used for sporting clays as well as duck and goose hunting. Over/under or automatic is acceptable. Interested in recommendations and why. Anyone have a gun for sale with this flexibility?

I have a Super-X 2 Sporting clays, The rose colored one, 28 inch barrel and a hat full of chokes. Shot 4 boxes of shells, decided to stay with my 1100 for skeet.

600 includes shipping to your FFL.

The best (BEST) all-purpose 3" gun on the market is a new or near new Citroi hunt gun. I have a 28" gun that shoots the bajezus out of everything. Been to the bottom of a wet duck boat many times. Laid in the muddy snow of a plowed goose field. Broke 100 strate at skeet. Fits any near average shooter. And if someone will offer yo a lightly used one, it will sell for under $800.

You can paint the citori camo yourself if you find one you want to take duck hunting---

Guys swear by the benellis- and I have one but I like gas operated autos if you are going to go that route

the absolute best duck and sporting gun I have shot or own however is a browning cynergy duck-

Beretta 390 will still be doing it all while the rest are in the scrap pile. Just the facts.

Have hunted geese around Moses Lake - Ritzville for the past 4-5 years using Rem 1100, Benelli Nova. Just bought a Beretta 391 Urika
Any of the the three did well in a Goose blind - I cannot recommend an O/U no matter how well they shoot from the point of view of opening the gun in the confines of a blind - the Benelli shot 3 1/2" shells and the recoil was not noticable when the guide said "take-em"
I would recommend any of the three

Thanks for all the suggestions and email responses. I purchased a Beretta 303, 3" with 32" barrel and will give this a try.

The shorter the barrel the better- but you will figure that out yourself
