1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    "Gas piston"?
Brownells in Montezuma Iowa has everything you would need for an 1100 and they ship as quick as you order.

Here's what you need for the barrel seal part of your question on a Remington 1100 or 1187.

    12 gauge: #21 Viton “O” ring

    20 gauge: #19 viton “O” ring

Viton is a brand of synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer commonly used in O-rings and other molded or extruded goods. The name is a registered trademark of DuPont Performance Elastomers L.L.C.

PTFE (Teflon) “O” rings will also work.

You can find them for cheap at places like Ace Hardware.
