1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Looking for a gun to get my wife started in trap (80's 1100 TT NIB). Missed a nice 1100 TT NIB from MIA by about 12 hrs. Never owned an auto loader, have always shot O/U, but think wife would like low recoil auto.

    Thanks all.

Have considered an 1100 20 gauge standard? It is a 12 gauge frame with a 20 gauge barrel and bolt assembly. Very low recoil and great way to introduce your wife to trap shooting. JM

Thanks for the suggestion....all set up for 12 gauge reloading etc... Wife has shot my O/U some and seemed to handle it okay. Thought the 1100 would be a good starter gun, plus, always wanted to own one anyway.

Miner - I recently purchased a Remington 1100 Classic Trap as a "fun gun" and as a back to my Browning O/U.

My "fun gun" is now turning into one of my favorites to shoot. It fits me, points well, and recoil is very minimal.

Remington has now come up with an 1100 Competition Synthetic. It has a recoil reducer and a Jack West type stock on it. I shot one as a demo and it was very nice.

if you are still looking--here is a reduced LOP -great starter gun--very low recoil and lite weight ( probably weighs 1/4 less than an 1100)-$485 + 25 shipping---wally riebesell-660-744-4115 --if you dont like it, send it back for full refund

Your might want to reconsider. I have an 1100 classic and it is heavy for me. She might not be able to handle it. An earlier used one should be lighter, but I would have her try it first. Frank Yost

    Miner,
Check out the new posting for an 1100 competition. I have one of these and will not exchange it for a TT. jm
