Anyone been to Sparta and seen if the camping spots were any better? Just curious if they've been "manicured" a bit, or if we'll be back in the clay and mud again? Thanks

We stayed at the WSRC a few days after Memorial Day. The grass they planted last year is up and being cut every week. It is not as thick as it should be and sparse in some areas. It looks like 5% to 10% of the new trees died from the drought. I understand that new ones will be planted.

They had planted 100's of trees and were mowing the grass but how it survived the heat from last month, don't know. But it looked alot better when we were there in May.
