I was hoping someone out there could tell me what the rules are for being punched and moved back in yardage at a WRETA "Western Regional Elks Trap Association" event.

I was told you can win at your yardage, and get a punch to move back. But I was also told you can score well, and NOT win at your yardage and still get a punch to move back. Is that correct, or how does it work?

    Thanks!! Julie P.

I'm not a WRETA shooter Julie, but both the PITA and ATA have automatic punches for quite high scores in handicap even if it's not a winning score. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that such a rule would be found in the WRETA system too.....breakemall....Bob Dodd
