I never thought I would enjoy watching the news about an airplane crash. But the Lord works in mysterious ways, and with a sense of humor!

    First: No one died!

Second: The passengers standing on the wing appeared to be walking on water!

Third: It removed Obama from the headlines for 24 hours!

Fourth: No one in the government could take credit for the miracle!

    AND

fIFTH: It wasn't George Bush's fault!

    WOW!!

Great story of having a competent leader (the Captain) and crew which resulted in saving over a hundred lives and preventing misery for countless number of kids, parents, spouses, friends and so on. When we speak of heroes, Capt. Sully should be one. Beats a guy hitting a baseball as a hero. Darrell

Remember all the trash talk about our military over the years.

Sure the pilot did a great job landing the plane with no engines.

What made him a hero was walking the plane as it was filling with ice water to make sure nobody was left on the plane.

Sort of like firefighters running into burning buildings, cops stopping stolen cars, and grunts doing their job day in and day out in places like Iraq and Afganistan!
