I just got off of Gunbroker and for curiosity sake, checked out 22 lr ammo. I was shocked to see it going for $30 + for bricks of economy type ammo that I used to buy in the 2001 era for $8!? Tom Rhoads

It has gone crazy, the day after the election I ordered 12,500 rnd of it sure glad I did, paid $16 for Federal 525 bulk boxes

I still remember the $8-9 bricks, wish i would have bought more, thought I had enough until the grand kids got old enough to shoot

You must have found the cheap stuff, the stuff I came across was going for about $50/brick

Glad I have 300 plus bricks and eight cases of 22 ammo. Plus another 60 thousand rounds of 22 short gallery ammo. I would not of thought the frenzy of ammo buying would affect 22 rim fire. All my ammo is vintage.

Even the formerly cheap surplus .308 military ammo is about $1/round (if you can even find any)! ....Rick

I was just at our local Fleet Farm Monday. They had a lot of CCI 22 rim fire as well as some federal and Winchester. Still at normal prices.
