If you were flying in for a convention and shows etc- would you bring a shotgun and where would you shoot/ Trap/Skeet

What are target costs and shell costs at the clubs and do you need to rent a car to get to them

    Regards from Iowa

Clark County. And can probably leave the guns at the club in the lock-up. Call Steve Carmichael and discuss it with him, he runs the club.

There is also a really nice sporting clays course just outside of town, named Desert Hills. It is on the way to Hoover Dam.

The Clark County shooting park is also well worth the visit. It is a really well built shooting club, and run by a nice bunch of people.

Both are 15-20 miles from the strip, and a rental car would be better. The cab fare would be $$$.

The old Las Vegas Gun Club was a nice place to shoot and I almost always took a gun with me - let my wife play the slots during the day and I went to the range.

I never had a problem traveling with a shotgun but I always told the reservation people I was going to shooting in a local competition and would have at least one shotgun with me. Never had any problem but don't leave it in your car unless you can lock the trunk so the ignition key won't open it.

I always transported in a hardcase -- Americase or equivalent.

I heard of a guy who drove to Vegas in a $50,000 car and come home in a $200,000 bus . . . . that said Greyhound on the side of.

Perhaps best to just rent a gun !

Every time I travel someplace without my shotgun, I wind up regretting it.

The only reason I go to Vegas is to shoot so the answer is yes. The Nevada state shoot is gonna be there the last of March that's when I'll be there.

Went on a shoot to Ben Avery for the Fiocchi Cup and stopped at las vegas on the way bach to Washington state. Went out to Desert Hills (now Pro Gun Club) and shot a round of sporting clays. Had a great time!!!! they have 21 stations and about a mile paved track to walk on or take a golf cart. Every shot from mild to wild. Will go back next time in Vegas. Did not make it to Clark County shooting park as they do not have sporting at this time. Mike T

Great facility- better than any combined trap= pistol- shotgun- educational facility I have seen anywhere

    Very nice people

Shot just one afternoon but enjoyed it
