Was shooting some of the Remington gun club ammo I had laying around. Then I started shooting Nobelsport. Both are 1 oz loads the Rem speed is said to be 1185 & the Nobelsport 1200. The Nobelsport seemed softer, smooter & hit the targets harder. I'll be sticking with Nobelsport for a while until I find another good bargain shell. Looking for some recommendations for good bargain shells. I still will be STS's for big shoots.

IMO, Kemen and Diana are trash. Bought a flat of 1 oz. Kemen at Silver Dollar, shot 2 boxes and sold the rest for $3/box.

I will disagree with MK. Have shot 1000's of Kemens. They are great. You have a good reloadable hull in the Nobel Sports. They are about the only EuroTrash manufacturers that publish data and supply components. They are a great hull to reload.

We've shot a ton of Nobelsport and Centurion and have had a few bad flats.

It seems like some flats are thrown together and the boxes are not uniform in size. I would save those for practice and expect under and over charged shells.

They work better in warm weather...

    My 2 Cents,

    Centurion........Italian for junk.

Remington Gun Clubs.....leaves a lot of unburned powder in the gun.

Diana....ok for 16yd targets, poor quality components. Packaging is junk.

Estate....cut some open and seems to be a mix of shot sizes. (7.5 to 9's)

Just my experience with these brands.

The problem I've had with the brands mentioned is they are so inconsistent, one flat may be just great and the next junk. For me the most consistent cheap factory ammo has been the Fed bulk packs, they seem to have more recoil but I've not had a problem with them, the Rem sport packs seem to be pretty good too but I haven't shot too many of them.

I never had a factory shell that I did not like, the shell never missed the target, I did. If you put any shell in the right place it will break the target. Ronnie

Been shooting Kemen for 8 years and NEVER had a misfire. Burns clean, 5% antimony and shot is polished and very consistent. Quality Shell. Saw lot of shooters shooting it at the Southwestern Grand last week.
