Shooting ATA in Janesville, WI today, while the air show was going on at the airport close by, as soon as I started handicap, the Blue Angles were flying back and forth just above the tree tops, you could see the Pilots in the jets.....Awesome!!

I dropped 5 birds the first fifty while they were flying around, had to run the second fifty for a 95...

    Beat that for a distraction!!!!

The cost of 5 birds plus what ever you lost in added money and options should have been worth the price to see the Blue Angels I'd think. Lucky you. Post-2

    KENENT,

How did things end up in Janesville today? I heard there around 115 shooters? Awesome turnout! I am sure things went well as they sure know how to run a shoot.

    What was high in 'caps?

there were I believe 33 singles squads, I'll bet there were 145 shooters there, I left at 6;00, and they were still shootin caps, high was 97 when I left.

if it wern't for the jets I would have ran 'em!! lol

Each year at the Dayton Air Show in Vandalia, you can drive up the Airport access road and watch the Blue Angels show pretty close. As they're flying-out their patterns, a couple times per show they will fly straight over your head a few hundred feet up, banked on their side...very cool!

Shot at Aust. Nat in '72 Melbourne Gun Club. 50 targ Single barrel. Shot firsty 25 went for shell break , temp about 105* ,shot two more and found No2 shooter standing on my toes , Asked him to stay put til I shot and he pointed to shooter No4. A young lady about 20 who had removed her top and every time she raised an arm yo shoot IT fell out of her shooting jacket. Missed next three birds.

    cubancigar2000,
Are you implying that you think they let her leave the hospital without paying the bill first? That practice doesn't seem like good business to me, of course she is pretty good advertizing.
