If shot drops 4" at 40 yards, how much at 130 yards???? It is losing substantial velocity.

Seen him do 100 yards plus at the Lobster Shoot at Addieville East Farm a few years back.

In the parking area (big field) next to the 5-stand. He kept backing up until he missed.

As part of the show he was also shooting 5-stand targets from the hip (and not missing).

A 200 target sporting event that weekend. He won by 2 if I remember correctly, also took the 100 target FITASC event.

Seem to be a pretty nice guy. Would talk to anyone when he was not on the course.

If you want to see King George in person he'll be shooting in the World FITASC
(sporting clays) championship in Hainesville, Illinois just north of Chicago
August 13th through August 18th. Unfortunately, that's the same week as the Grand 300 miles south.

Bud, I thought the narrarator said Digweed switched from standard Gamebore loads to Black Gold 5s at 100 yards.

    Check out this link.

    http://www.gamebore.com/products/14/12g-black-gold-hv-game

It looks like 5 shot, 28 to 35 gram loads, running about 1450 to 1500 fps.

    How much is 28, 30 and 35 grams in ounces? 1, 1 and 1/8 and 1 and 1/4?

I just heard that david radulovitch (spelling) broke that record at 163 yards and the news will be out shortly. I think he used remington 5's but not sure about what it was. One heck of a shot. He is from ohio and a sporting clays shooter. motordoc

I am gonna go for 180 yrds, with #4's, out of a Remington 870 Competiton

I gotta wait for the speaker relay so they can hear me call, and a tractor to clear out the firing pad.

Where and when did Radulovich break the record? Was it on tape?

He is one heck of a shot. I think he placed 2nd at the US OPEN. A very deliberate, mechanical shooter. Pat Lieske came in 5th or 6th. Pat runs Island Lake and another course in Detroit. Great guy, great shot too.

I too would like to know the source of Radulovich breaking Digweed's record.
