    Gobble Gobble!!!

The annual and world famous West Chester Gun Club Turkey Shoot will take place this Sunday and the following Saturday.

As those that have attended know we give out freshly butchered (never frozen) Turkeys. They have always been a real crowd pleaser and this year should be no different.

Turkeys will be awarded based on Lewis Class. Four turkeys for every event of fifteen shooters.

This will be a two day event. The first day is this Sunday and Turkey Shoot 2 will take place on the following Saturday (11/22/08). Please note that all turkeys won this Sunday must be picked up when they are delivered on the following Saturday to insure freshness.

I highly recommend pre-squadding so there are no disappointments. Call 610-696-4418.

Check the listed web site for more details and directions.

I hope to see the regulars and I hope you bring friends.

Turkey Shoot 1 was a huge success and I hope everyone had fun. If anyone needs a turkey see David Comroe. Don't ask why.

Turkey Shoot 2 will take place this Saturday. The freshly butchered turkeys will be on site so anyone that won last weekend please arrange to pick up your turkey(s) on Saturday and if you didn't attend or need another turkey we'll be glad to see you.

There is a mistake in the posted schedule. Start time is 11:00 instead of 10:00.

    Cheers,

    Jerry

I want to thank everybody who participated in West Chester's 2 day Turkey Shoot. 100 very large(18 to 20 pound) fresh turkeys were awarded.

Both days were challenging, weather wise, but everyone seemed to have a good time. Hopefully most people went home with a bird in hand.

See you all next year when we'll do it again!!

    Jerry:

thanks for all your work in making the shoot a success.

It was a great shoot, and I don't think anyone went home empty handed. If I hadn't won, I'd have had to make a trip to the farmers market, as I was under orders from the missus to bring home 2.

I'm looking forward to the Christmas shoot for spiral cut hams on 12/21 -- it always attracts a good crowd of people.

    Pete
